The traditional justification of bicameralism is that an higher chamber acts as a house of review. A judiciary is theoretically sure by the constitution, just as all other government our bodies are. In most countries judges might only interpret the constitution and all different legal guidelines. But in widespread law countries, where issues usually are not constitutional, the judiciary can also create law underneath the doctrine of precedent. The UK, Finland and New Zealand assert the best of parliamentary sovereignty, whereby the unelected judiciary may not overturn law handed by a democratic legislature.
